Students in grades K and 1 meet twice a week for library instruction and book exchange. Instruction is center-based and designed to support the classroom literacy curriculum.

Students in grade 2 meet once a week. Instruction is center-based to support the classroom literacy curriculum as well as to provide an introduction to research and technology skills. Students check out 3 books; two "just right" and one choice.

Students in grades 3-5 meet on a flexible shedule, using a co-teaching model. The curriculum is designed to provide students with an opportunity to engage in project based learning through research and technology integration. Students also visit the library weekly for book exchange. All students in grades 3-5 have received instruction on using Destiny software to look for books. Parents and students can also search for "just right" or choice books from home.
