CLUB INTERNACIONAL // CLUB INTERNATIONAL
... held its premier meeting in September 2009. The students who attended had a great time making "papel picado" and eating Mexican snacks to celebrate Mexican Independence Day, September 16th! We talked about our different heritages a bit and decided that we'd like to know about a wide range of countries and cultures.
So now CLUB INTERNACIONAL is exactly where many students want to be.
We learn about a country or region, create a craft and sample typical foods of that culture each time.
Who/What/How Much/Where/When/Why
Students can attend once or many times during the school year.
Meetings are held Wednesdays, 2:45-3:45 P.M.
at Cutler Middle School in Room #41 with Senora Widham.
There are no dues.
There is often a guest speaker, a craft to do and some snack and beverage of the culture to enjoy.
There is always something interesting to learn about the many cultures on planet Earth!
