• "The longer I live the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude to me is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than success, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company, a church and/or a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we choose to embrace.  We cannot change our past, we cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one thing we have and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it. You and only you can make that choice."..............from a collection of authors and philosophers
With the 2017-18 school year upon us, I look forward to meeting the class of 2021. My schedule is somewhat varied this year giving me an opportunity to reconnect with students I had in my previous freshmen PE classes. The first week of classes will consist of orientation and locker distribution. Our first units will consist of as many outdoor activities as we can fit in before the cold weather. Tennis, softball, flag football, ultimate frisbee and Capture the Flag will all be part of the fall curriculum.   I have the best job in the world with the best students in the world and look forward to my 38th year in the profession!
